BLUE PALMS RESIDENCE

68 APARTMENT COMPLEX OVERLOOKING SIMPSON BAY LAGOON

Type: Residential

Year: 2018-2019

Localisation: CANDLE TREE DRIVE, COLE BAY, SINT MAARTEN

Phase: BUILDING PERMIT APPROVED

Within the boundaries of this project, 6 building blocks have been designed at the Candle Tree Drive in Cole Bay. Every two blocks share an underground parking level from where the apartments are accessible.

In this unique location the building blocks are positioned on the slope of the hill in such a way that guarantees a spectacular view from every apartment of the residence over the Simpson Bay lagoon to the Caribbean Sea with the island Anguilla far on the horizon.

The building blocks adapt themself to the form of the slope applying retaining wall and vertical garden slope stabilization technics perpendicularly to the main road access. The landscape design follows a strip pattern: garden, building block and fire emergency access as functional departing point of the masterplan concept.
